The cable is a cable sent dysfunction cheap generic. There is nothing like the image and not an Apple product. This product page is completely false and should be amended to adequately describe the product that company is selling (ie non-Apple, the third cable)

While the image shows a connector for the iPod manufactured by Apple, he sent a telegram of others who do not even allow me to connect my PC to my iPod. A total failure of a product and a business.

The product is cheap and the manufacturing poor, regularly causes my iPod to disconnect and reconnect my computer to any bump on my iPod, which can lead to data loss. Avoid!

CAUTION: The image of this product is not what you get, and is made by “Inspiretech” and not as Apple intended. Yes, it seems to charge my iPhone 3G that is all you really need to do, but there must be some truth in the labeling of these outside suppliers Amazon. . .
