Is there a way to charge my Canon Ixus 50 without using the charger?

He seemed to have lost the charger. Is there a way to load and connect to the computer or something? Otherwise, why not a new loader will cost me?

      No.

      You will have to buy a new one from Canon … if you buy a generic and it kills your Canon battery, Canon will not honor the warranty on the battery and if worse the overheated or overcharged Canon battery damages your camera you are “Sorry, out of luck”

      You can call the Canon help line and they will hook you up with a charger . 800.OK-CANON
